Carbon-Credit Monitoring and Prediction in Smart Factory using Explainable AI and Data Analytics

I’m proud to share my recent research contribution, presented in the paper ‘Carbon-Credit Monitoring and Prediction in Smart Factory using Explainable AI and Data Analytics’. This paper was a key highlight at The 14th International Conference on ICT Convergence, held in October 2023 at the Lotte Hotel in Jeju Island, South Korea. Collaborating with fellow researchers Cosmas Ifeanyi Nwakanma and Nkoro Ebuka Chinaechetam from Kumoh National Institute of Technology, and Ikenna Ajere from the Federal University of Technology Owerri, we tackled a pressing issue in environmental sustainability within the industrial sector. Our work introduces an innovative method that combines analytics and explainable AI to effectively monitor and predict carbon emissions in smart factories. This approach not only enhances the environmental management practices of these factories but also sets a new standard in the field of sustainable manufacturing. To delve deeper into our findings and understand the impact of our research, feel free to read the full paper here.”
